ABOUT BULGARIA

NORTHERN BLACK SEA COST

All these are the reason why the Northern Black Sea coast is an attractive place for Bulgarian and foreign holiday makers.
Even the most refined reqirements will be satisfied by the modern resorts of Zlatni Piassatsi (Golden Sands), Albena, Roussalka, Riviera, Slanchev Den (Sunny Day), St.Konstantin and Elena. If you admire natural beauty and historical places you will be charmed by the Balchik Botanical Garden or the museum at Kaliakra horn. The wonderful Balchik Botanical Garden consists of ten hectares surrounding the small summer palace of the Romanian Queen Marie. (The area was part of Romania between 1913 and 1940). The pretty villa has the unusual addition of a minaret, which have been built for the Turkish Queen.
In the gardens therea are about 3000 plant species of which over 250 cacti. This astonishing collection of cacti makes the collection of Balchik Garden Europe's second most important collection.

SOUTHERN BLACK SEA COST
